About this place

Syon Park has been in the continuous ownership of the Percy family, Dukes of Northumberland, for over 400 years.

The house sits on the north bank of the Thames in west London, and its Robert Adam interiors from the 1760s are considered among the finest in England.

The great conservatory in the grounds was designed by Charles Fowler in the 1820s and is said to have influenced Joseph Paxton when he was designing the Crystal Palace.

The house and grounds are privately managed and open to the public.
