Delamore is a country house on the Delamore Estate at Cornwood, near Ivybridge in Devon, on the southern edge of Dartmoor.
The current house dates from 1859, the fourth to stand on the site, and was built for Admiral Parker.
The grounds are not normally open to the public, but each May they host the Delamore Arts and Sculpture Exhibition, with work displayed across the gardens and inside the house's ballroom.
The estate has remained in the same family since 1688.
History
The Delamore Estate has passed down through the same family since 1688, making it one of the longer-held private estates in this part of Devon. The present house, completed in 1859, is the fourth built on the site and was commissioned by Admiral Parker, with the surrounding grounds laid out at roughly the same time.
