About this place

Crows Hall is a working farm and farmhouse bed and breakfast in the South Downs National Park, a short drive from Chichester and Goodwood.

The farmhouse dates to medieval times, with the guest wing retaining original flagstone floors and ancient oak beams.

The Renwick family has operated the farm as a working agricultural holding and opened it to overnight guests in 1997.

A restored 1950s Bluebird Sunparlour caravan was added to the grounds in 2024, equipped with a hot tub and views over Kingley Vale.

History

The farmhouse at Crows Hall is thought to date from the medieval period, though much of what survives reflects later farmhouse building. It has been listed for its historic and architectural interest, a status recorded in national heritage designations. The Renwick family took on the working farm and opened it to overnight guests in 1997, continuing its life as an active agricultural holding.

Architecture

The farmhouse retains original flagstone floors and exposed oak beams, and the guest accommodation has its own separate entrance and staircase. The building carries a Grade II listed status recognising its historic fabric.
