Bramall Hall is a timber-framed manor house in Bramhall, Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Its oldest sections date from the 14th century, making it one of the more substantial medieval survivals in the historic county of Cheshire.
The hall sits within 70 acres of landscaped parkland, known as Bramhall Park, which is open to the public.
It now operates as a museum, managed by Stockport Council.

The manor of Bramall appears in the Domesday Book of 1086, when it was held by the Massey family. From the late 14th century the Davenport family owned the estate and built the present house, remaining lords of the manor for around 500 years. In 1877 the Davenports sold an estate of nearly 2,000 acres to the Manchester Freeholders' Company, and the hall itself passed to the Nevill family before being purchased by John Henry Davies in 1925 and acquired by Hazel Grove and Bramhall Urban District Council in 1935.
Architecture
The hall is largely Tudor in design, built in the black-and-white timber-framed style characteristic of historic Cheshire. Its oldest structural fabric dates to the 14th century, with significant additions made in the 16th and 19th centuries.
Gardens & grounds
The 70 acres of landscaped parkland surrounding the hall, known as Bramhall Park, form a significant part of the visitor experience and are open to the public.
